CHRISTMAS

We all got a goody bag with our name on. We normally give a birthday gift of 10"×10" pieces of fabric. Now we give it at Christmas. So we all went home with a bag of prezzies.

Tannie Rina. Our precious member. She started Rafels and tought us all we know. She is the most amazing lady with a wonderful sense of humour. We love her to bits.

Riana giving Christa her envelope with money so she can spoil herself. She was a very busy lady this year. Thank you Christa for all you did for us.

A huge thank you to all the Rafels members for a wonderful year. It went by so quickly. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year with your family and friends. Remember to do a bit of quilting. See you all in 2016.

NATIONAL QUILTING DAY.

Our Guild celebrated National Quilting Day by hosting a quilting day at one of our local church halls. A light lunch and tea and coffee were served. The
day was spent by attending classes, demonstrations, lucky draws.

There were quilts displayed by Quilts In Clarence.

Those that were waiting for the next demo to begin worked on their own handwork. I do apologise for the poor photos. Looks like my camera was not in the mood to work that day.

A wonderful day was had by all. A huge thanks to our Commitee for organising this amazing day.

OUR PRECIOUS SATURDAY MEETINGS.

We get together every second Saturday afternoon from 2 - 5 pm. This time is spent by sharing ideas, chatting and eating. Here are a coule of photos to show the wonderful time we have. We also have some of our members show us their beautiful quilts they have made or are still busy with.
