2013

The new year started off with some beautiful quilts being shown. Looks like not everybody put their feet up and did nothing

Here Christa is showing her rail-fence quilt.

Juanita our new member is a busy lady. The photo on top is her "Skewwe Huisies" quilt. She did Mare of Bultfontein class. The quilt at the bottom is a paper piecing Tumbling Blocks.

Alta Street is going to be a Granny soon. She made this quilt for her daughter Lauren. She had a difficult time working on it as Lauren would pop in and then she had to hide her work.
Alta du Plessis finished her Graffiti Blocks.

Congrats ladies, you are all really an inspiration.

CHRISTMAS

I do apologize for neglecting this blog for so long.

In December we got together at Koekela Coffee Shop to celebrate our year end and exchange our gifts before we all went our different ways to celebrate Christmas with our families. I received the most amazing gift from the group members, a Goody Bag filled with lots of amazing gifts. I took photos of all the wonderful presents but as luck will have it I just cannot find them, so typical of my filling system.

The photos speak for themselves. We had an awesome morning opening presents and spending precious time with our wonderful friends.
