RINA SCHUTTE
Rina is the founder of our Rafels group. Riana and Beatrice went to visit her
at the frail care a while ago. Her eyes lit up when she saw them. She gave them so many
ideas on the quilt Beatrice is working on. Rina and Riana are both Master Quilters. Riana
took a photo of their talented hands. When they left she waved to them from her bathroom window.
She is very precious to our group and we miss her input. We are very privileged to have
learnt from the best. Thank you Rina.
CHRISTMAS 2018
We had our annual closing on the 1st December 2018. Ruby hosted this years closing. The theme was a picnic. She covered boxes with
material that they resembled a picnic basket. She really did amazing and went to a lot of trouble. Thank you Ruby for the lovely day.
We even had her cat joining us for the occasion. Here are some photos to show the wonderful time we had.
